communication between the Chromeleon software and the device
was interrupted during the firmware download. Repeat the
download.

To operate the device nevertheless, you can disable the leak
sensor functionality in the Chromeleon software by setting Leak
Sensor Mode to Disabled.
Contact Technical Support. Update the firmware.
The firmware may be defective. Update the firmware (see
Updating the Device Firmware
May occur if internal processes triggered by lamp configuration
changes (i.e. automatic intensity determination) fail. This may
occur especially when removing the flow cell immediately after
having ignited the lamp.
Note Never remove the flow cell immediately after having ignited
the lamp.
•
Switch lamp off and on again.
•
Repeat the command/sequence.
•
Check whether the lamp cover is installed properly.
•
Check the UV lamp connector.
•
If the message appears again, replace the UV lamp (see
(} page 124)).
•
If the problem persists, contact Technical Support.
Note To clear the red error status of the UV lamp status LED and
of the LED bar, press the UV button on the keypad.
•
Check whether the VIS lamp is installed. If no VIS lamp is
available, make sure it is deactivated in the Instrument
Configuration Manager.
•
Check whether the lamp cover is installed properly.
•
Check the VIS lamp connector.
•
If the message appears again, replace the VIS lamp (see
(} page 124)).
•
If the problem persists, contact Technical Support.
