IMPORTANT REMARKS

You have just purchased a Personal Protective Equip-
ment (PPE) and we thank you for the trust you have
placed in us. So that this product can give you com-
plete satisfaction, we ask you to, BEFORE BRINGING IT
INTO SERVICE, follow the instructions in this manual.
Non-compliance with the instructions described in this
manual could lead to serious repercussions. We recom-
mend that you reread them periodically. Furthermore,
the manufacturer or its agent declines all responsibility
in case of use, storage or maintenance carried out in any
manner other than those described in this manual.
IF THE PURCHASER IS NOT THE USER, THESE
INSTRUCTIONS MUST ABSOLUTELY BE CONVEYED
TO THE LATTER . In the case where the product is sold
outside its first country of desination, for the user's
safety, the seller must provide, in the country in which
the product is to be used, the following:
Maintenance instructions
 Instructions on periodical controls
Instructions relating to repair
 Additional information required specifically for the
equipment concerned
A fall protection harness is the only body grip device
that it is permitted to use in a fall arrest system. You need
to make sure, prior to use, that the specific recommen-
dations for each component relating to this product, as
defined in their instructions, are met, that compliance
with the applicable European standards are met or,
when this is not the case, compliance with the suitable
standard and, ensure that the safety functions do not in-
terfere with each other. When this is possible, it is highly
recommended to personally allocate this equipment to
the same user. Make sure that the product you have just
purchased is compatible with the recommendations
regarding the other components of the system. When
using, protect your PPE against any hazard linked to the
work environment: heat, electrical or mechanical shock,
acid splash, cutting edges, etc.
CAUTION
Work at height is a dangerous matter, as it can cause
accidents or serious wounds. We would like to remind
that you personally take responsibility in case of an
accident, wound or death during or following the use
of our products, for yourself as well as for a third party.
The use of our products is reserved for competent
persons that have received the proper training or who
are working under the responsibility of a competent
superior. Practice using this PPE and make sure that you
have fully understood its operation. In case of any doubt,
do not take any risk; seek the information you need!
Good physical condition is compulsory to perform work
at height. Some medical contraindications could harm
the safety of the user even in the case of usual use of
the harness and in urgency matters (taking medication,
cardiovascular disorder, etc.). When in doubt, check with
your doctor.
VERIFICATION BEFORE USE
Each time you use the equipment, you must first carry
out an in-depth visual examination of the integrity
of the PPE as well as of any other equipment to be
associated with it (connector, lanyard, etc.) and, to take
the necessary measures regarding the implementa-
tion of a possible rescue in complete safety. In case of
any damage brought to your product, check with the
manufacturer or its agent. If you have any doubt as to
the safety of a product or when the product has been
used to stop a fall; it is essential, for your safety, that the
PPE be removed from operation and sent back to the
manufacturer or a qualified repair centre for purposes
of verification or destruction. Once examined, the
centre will issue or not a written autorisation for reuse
of the PPE. It is strictly forbidden to modify or repair
PPE yourself. Only the manufacturer or a repair centre is
authorised to make such repairs.
