How to adjust the media volume
When playing music or watching videos, press the Volume control
keys on the right side of the mobile phone to adjust the media volume.
You can also adjust the media volume on the settings screen.
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display > Media volume.
2. Drag the slider left to make the volume down, or right to make it up.
3. Touch OK to save the adjustment.
How to turn on the silent mode
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display.
2. Select the Silent mode check box. Then all sounds except media
and alarms are silenced.
How to change the phone ringtone
1. Touch Main Menu > Settings > Sound & display.
2. Touch Phone ringtone.
3. Touch the ringtone you want to use, and then touch OK. The
ringtone plays when selected.
Tip: Want to set a song as a ringtone? Easy! First load the tune onto
your microSD card. Once you have located it through the phone menu,
press and hold the song name, and select Set as phone ringtone. You
can set different songs as ringtones for different contacts or groups too
– you will find the options when you edit through contacts.
How to change the message ringtone
1. Touch Main Menu > Messaging.
2. Press the MENU button, and then touch Settings.
3. Flick down the menu list, and then touch Select ringtone. The
ringtone plays when selected.
