Replace the sensor.
Replace the sensor.
Stud Mount: Tighten the nut retaining
the sensor to the stud on the tank and
ensure the heat transfer pad is in
place.
External Jacket Mount: Ensure the
sensor has clean contact with the
cylinder, the spring is OK and the
mounting screw is tight.
Connect the fan wiring or plug firmly
and correctly to the controller.

Is the fan plug firmly and correctly
connected to the controller?
YES
Ensure that the plug pins are clean
and making firm electrical contact. If
the pins are OK, replace the controller.
Replace the fan.
Replace the controller.
Repair or replace the faulty fan wiring.
Replace the controller.
