    -50dBm to +26dBm is available. The 2498C/D optical power meter has two power meter modules, and only one of them can be selected at one time. Based on different optical source, it is divided into two types as shown in Table 1-1.

If the battery is stored at low voltage for a long time, it may damage the internal structure and shorten the service life due to self-discharge. Therefore, the lithium batteries should be charged every 3 to 6 months if they are stored for a long period of time. The lithium battery is a built-in battery and is stored along with the machine.

    Section I Structure and Description of Optical Power Meter Appearance The appearance of the optical power meter is shown in Figure 2-1. The dust cover has the functions of dustproof, windproof etc., so as to avoid insertion loss or the test error caused by dust.

    2 Maintenance The 2498C/D is a precision instrument with high reliability and complex maintenance and calibration. a) When the instrument has a malfunction, it should be sent back to the Company for repair; b) If the deviation of the test value is found to be large or the output power value of the optical source is too small, check whether the input and output ports are contaminated.
