ASSEMBLE The hedge trimmer has been assembled in the standard delivery so no need for extra assembling steps. PREPARE Add engine lubricant Oil: Initial use 1) Set the unit on a flat surface. 2) Remove the oil cap from the machine 3) Pour 60ml 4 stroke garden engine oil into lubricant cup.
PREPARE The use of old fuel is the most common cause of performance problems. Use only fresh, clean unleaded gasoline. NOTE: This unit has a 4-stroke engine. DO NOT mix oil with gasoline. WARNING: Add fuel in a clean, well-ventilated outdoor area.
OPERATE Switch on To start a cold engine: STOP STOP Press the button to “I” position. Note:checking for loose fasteners, fuel leaks and damaged parts, such as cracks in the cutting attachment. Press the primer bulb Press the primer bulb repeatedly 8-10 times until petrol begins to fill the bulb.
OPERATE To restart a warm engine: Press the on/off switch, Quickly pull the recoil starter handle until the engine runs. Hold the body of the machine on the ground using your left hand (CAUTION! Not with your foot!). Grip the starter handle, slowly pull out the cord with your right hand until you feel some resistance (the starter pawls grip), now quickly and powerfully pull the cord.
OPERATE Cutting work Adjust the handle to fits the intended cut and start the product. Move the cutting device lightly through the cutting surface in a sweeping motion following the shape of the hedge or shrub. A slight tilt downwards of the cutting device in the direction of motion is recommended for optimum cutting performance.
MAINTENANCE The correct and regular cleaning is not only important for the safe use of this product, but also extends its life span. Warning! Always switch off the engine and wait for cooling down of engine. Please remove the dust, debris etc. from machine after every application.
MAINTENANCE 1.Clean machine body Clean the machine shell, handle and some plastic covers after working, care some necessary parts with clean cloth,extend the life of product. Install the blade cover when you store for long time. When install blade cover,you need to squeeze the cover carefully,and easy to insert.
MAINTENANCE 4.Air filter cleaning Remove the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash it clean in warm, soapy water. Ensure that the filter is dry before refitting it. An air filter that has been in use for a long time cannot be cleaned completely.
MAINTENANCE To ensure good cutting results it is important that the contact pressure between the blades is correct. The contact pressure is adjusted by turning the screws on the underside of the bar clockwise as far as they will go. Lock the screws using the locking nut on the top of the bar.
MAINTENANCE 8.Install the blade cover to protect blade when you store it for a long time. 9.Storage • Never store a fueled unit where fumes may reach an open flame or spark. • Allow the engine to cool before storing. • Lock up the unit to prevent unauthorized use or damage. • Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated area. • Store the unit out of the reach of children. Short-term Storage (1-2 weeks) Store the unit in a horizontal position. If not possible, store the unit vertically with the engine at the top.

MAINTENANCE Preparing the Unit for Use after Long-term Storage 1. Remove the spark plug. Tip the unit and drain all of the oil from the cylinder into an approved container. Reinstall the spark plug. 2. Change the oil. Refer to Changing the Oil. NOTE: Do not use fuel that has been stored for more than 30 days.
