Smps Board - LG 60PC1D Training Presentation

The 60PC1D Plasma Display contains 3 Power Supply related Circuit Boards and 4
Power Supply Circuits which supply power requirements to the unit. The AC/DC
Power Supply Board, the Standby Power Supply and the PFC ( Pulse Frequency
Coefficient ) Supply Board and the SMPS ( Switch Mode Power Supply ).
The following circuit explanations will give the Technician a better
understanding of the operation and adjustment of each board and how to isolate
which board may be at fault in the event of a failure should one occur.
There are 4 Adjustments available on the Switch Mode Power Supply Board and
one on the PFC Supply Board.

SMPS Board

1) VR8401 VA Adjust used for the Vertical Grid Drive
2) VR8501 VS Adjust used for the Horizontal Grid Drive
3) VR8802 5VDC Adjust used for developing Drive Signals
4) VR8801 3.4V Adjust used for Control Signal Development ( Factory Adjusted )
PFC Board
1) VR801 380V Adjust for PFC use AC Ground (use GND PIN of P803A)
