3. Getting Started

A. Battery Save Feature
After unpacking the LC100, it should be ready
for use. A 9 volt alkaline battery comes pre-
installed. The "Battery Save" feature is enabled
and set to 30 minutes in case the unit is acci-
dentally turned on in transit. The battery save
feature will turn off the LC100 automatically if
no keys are pressed after 30 minutes. To
change the length of time on the battery save
feature or to disable it completely perform the
following steps during power up:
1) Turn off the LC100.
2) Hold the
