Step 1
Remove packing stick (5) from headboard panel (1) and DISCARD.
Attach the legs (2) and (3) to headboard panel (1)
Step 2
and pillow stop (4) using JCB (A) and barrel nut (B).
Tighten with the Allen wrench (F).

Questions and answers
Purchased Madison bed. It has drawers under. 1) We did not get the extra legs/slats support. Also without this extra support what is weight the bed will hold? It said 600 lbs on Home Depot site but without the extra wood/slat support I would think this is different. 2) do the slats install with the black strap connections show on the top or under the slats for best support? 3 finally does this bed need a box springs and if not does it change the weight it will hold.
