Repeater/Fiber Hub
The Repeater Adapter and Fiber Module are designed to plug together on a user supplied
35 x 7.5 mm metal, top hat rails (DIN EN50022). The Repeater Adapter model TC-
RPA002 requires a 24 Vdc power supply and it supplies the power to the Fiber Module.
The Fiber Module is available in a short distance model TC-RPFS01 and a medium
distance model TC-RPFM01. The TC-RPFS01 short-distance, Fiber Module supports
fiber optic trunk segments up to 300 meters (984 feet) in length. The TC-RPFM01
medium-distance, Fiber Module supports fiber optic trunk segments up to 3 kilometers
(9,842 feet) or more in length. The actual distance supported depends upon the quality of
the fiber cable and the quantity and quality of cable splices and connectors, including
patch panels
Fiber optic cable considerations
Since cable routes can vary from using plenum air returns to being buried underground,
we suggest that you work with a cable manufacturer to select the wiring that meets your
particular installation requirements. If you have access to the internet, you can visit the

on a wide variety of wire and cable types.
