This section describes the operating controls.

Control Panel

This section describes the functions of the control panel buttons and indicators.
The control panel has eight buttons, seven indicators, and a buzzer. The figure
below shows the control panel.

Control panel buttons

This section describes the functions of the control panel buttons.
ON LINE
Sets the printer on or off line.
FORM FEED/COPY
This button has one of three functions, depending on whether paper is loaded and
whether the printer is on line.
When you are loading paper and the printer is off line:
The FORM FEED/COPY button serves as an AUTO LOAD button. If you load
paper onto a tractor and then press FORM FEED/COPY, the printer advances the
paper to the platen. The paper is fed from the tractor specified by the PAPER
SELECT indicator.
