RADLE PLAYER
The Philips 'Sweet Dreams' cradle player gently comforts your baby as it settles down to
sleep. It lets your baby hear the soothing tones of your own voice, a lullaby or one of
two other comforting natural sounds. The cradle player is part of a complete range of
Philips Baby Care products designed to help you provide the highest level of care for
your baby. Please read this guide carefully before using the cradle player, and keep it for
future reference.
Getting the cradle player ready
Before using the cradle player install four AA batteries (not included). Loosen the screw
(1/4 turn anticlockwise) at the bottom of the player and remove the cover. Insert the
batteries as shown in the diagram, taking care that the polarities are correct. Secure the
cover in place.
Important
Dispose of batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
Do not dispose of in fire or they may explode.
Never attempt to recharge the battery.
Attach the player securely to the crib as follows:
•
Position the player on the inside of the crib so that the night light side faces the
baby.
•
Fold the strap over the top horizontal bar so that it is located centrally between two
vertical bars.
•
Lock the stud into either hole, depending on the length you require. Make sure
that the baby cannot become entangled in the strap!
To access the controls swing the player out of the crib over the top bar so that the
controls are facing you.
Note:
Older infants can also use the cradle player separately as a toy but first you
must cut off the strap completely for safety reasons.
