ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE FOR LT45P
.
Connect with the receiver DA-R45P by using the signal
cable before adjustment.
1. Horizontal motor/arm adjustment
1-l With the MAIN P.C.B. TPl pattern disconnected.
supply DC9V to TP2 (1/M STP)and TP3 (GNOI.
Note: When supplying DC9V, insert the suitable
limiting resistor.
o Remove the dust cover by removing the 4 fixing
screws and carry out adjustment without the cover.
1 -2 Set a record on the turntable.
1-3 Move the arm over the record by means of the func-
t i o n P H O N O > M A N U A L k e y o f t h e c o m m a n d e r
{speed: 9.5 mm/sec.).
Push the PHONO key again to stop the arm.
1-4 Bv adjusting the stylus height adjusting screw, adjust
the distance between the stylus tip and the record
surface to 4.0 mm t 0.5 mm.
2. MRPS/record detection adiurtment and tracking djust-
ment/arm descending position adiustment
2-1 Move the arm over the record to the posiiton free
of groove.
2-2 With the arm held up, connect the DC voltmeter to
T P 4 ( M R P S . U P ) a n d T P 3 ( G N D ) a n d a d j u s t V R 2
so that the output voltage becomes DC2.5V10.1V.
Note: When adjusting VR2, start from the maximum
at the right.
2-3 Short the MAIN P.C.B. TPI pattern for conduction.
2-4 let down the arm by means of the function keys,
MANUAL and PHONO, of the commander and
when it started tracking, adiust the eccentric pin so
that the stylus moves up and down smoothly while
letting the arm up/down with the MANUAL and
PHONO keys.
ADJUSTMENT LOCATION DIAGRAM
Tighten the lock screw after adlustment.
2-5 Set the test record on the turntable and adjust VRI
so that the arm descending position is within 25
count.
2-6 Check to ensure that each lead wire is not pulled.
3. MUTE release rensor sensitivity adiunmont
3-l Connect the audio oscillator to TPS and TF6
( P H O N O i n p u t t e r m i n a l s ) , a p p l y l k H z , 3 0 m V ( - 9 O
dBV) input, connect the DC voltmeter to Tp7
( M R P S ' D O W N ) a n d T P 3 ( G N D ) a n d a d j u s t V R 3 s o
that the output voltage becomes the GND level.
Then check to ensure that the wow and flutter is
less than 0. 15 %.
4. Turntable spced diustment
4-1 Connect the frequency counrer to TP8 (L ch) or Tp9
(R ch) and TP3 {GND), and play rest record ar the
speed of 33rpm.
4-2 Adjust VR4 so that the frequency becomes 3,000 !
1 0 H z .
4-3 Next, adiust VRS so that the frequency becomes
4 , 0 5 0 I 1 O H z a t t h e s p e e d o f 4 5 r p m .
4-4 Again set the speed selector to 33 rpm and check
that the frequency is within 3,000 t 20H2.
5. Lead-in confirmation
5-1 Set the test record on the turntable and by operating
the PHONO key, check to ensure that the lead-in
takes place within 20 to 40 count.
Afso check that the lead-out occurs within 22 io 24
c o u n t w i t h t h e 1 7 c m r e c o r d a n d w i t h i n 1 7 t o 1 9
