CASSETTE TAPE DECK SECTION : MODEL DT-45P
DISASSEMBLY PROCEDURE FOR DT-45P
1. Removing the top covel
1) Remove the six top cover fixing screws(Ôas shown in
F i s . 4 .
2l The top cover can be removed by sliding it forward.

3. Removing the front panel
1 ) A s s h o w n i n F i g . 5 , r e m o v e t h e t h r e e f r o n t p a n e l f i x i n g

2) Pull the lower side of the front panel slightly forward,
and raise upward. The front panel should now come
free.
4. Removing the mechanism contiol circuit board
1 ) A s s h o w n i n F i g . 4 , l o o s e n t h e t w o s c r e w s @ .
2) As shown in Fig. 6, remove CN906 and CN9O7 from
t h e m e c h a n i s m c o n t r o l c i r c u i t b o a r d . a n d r e m o v e t h e
t w o p l a s t i c r i v e t .
3) The mechanism control circuit board can now be re-
m o v e d b y p u l l i n g i t t o w a r d s t h e f r o n t s i d e u n t i l t h e
one-touch connector comes free from the rear panel.
5. Removing ttre cassette holder
1 ) F o l l o w i n g s t e p s 1 , 2 , 3 , r e m o v e t h e t o p c o v e r , s u b -
panel, front panel.
2) Pushing the cassette holder, pull it foruvard.
3 ) A s s h o w n i n F i g . 7 , r e m o v e t h e s c r e w @ ,
r e m o v e t h e
stopper securing the sliding mechanism of the cassette
holder, and pull the cassette holder forward.
4) Remove the two ,"r.*,
6D on the left and right sides
of the cassette holder.
5) Turn the set upside down and remove the four screws

as shown in Fig. 8.
2. Removing the sub-panel
1 ) A s s h o w n i n F i g . 5 . r e m o v e t h e s u b - p a n e l f i x i n g s c r e w
@, anO loosen the r"r"*@.
2) Remove the sub-panel from the fingers securing it on
the right side, and pull the left side slightly forward
and rise the sub-panel assembly. The sub-panel should
now come free.
