    Note: As a general guideline, the maximum suggested distance from a dust source to the unit is 30 ft when using 2-1/2” hose. Maximum distances may drop considerably when using 4” hose. Since each shop situation is different, your results may vary.
  • Page 11 SELECTING A SITE FOR THE DUST COLLECTOR AND LAYING OUT A PLAN FOR THE PIPING Note: Plan, measure and mark before you drill! Having a mapped out rough layout of your planned installation, starting from the dust collector unit at the far left and working out to your furthest point on the right, may help simplify the installation and avoid surprises.

    ASSEMBLY 1/4” 5 9/16” 6 7/8” STEP 1 Install the wall anchors for the dust collector. Wall anchors should be installed in the wall at the selected location for the unit. Using the dimensions shown below as a reference, mark the location of the wall anchors on the wall.

    OPERATIONS CONNECTING TO A POWER SOURCE Plug the dust collector into a proper receptacle. Your power tools should be con- nected to a dedicated electrical circuit of not less than #14 wire and should be protected with a 15 amp time lag fuse. If an extension cord is needed, use only 3-wire cords with 3-prong grounded-type plugs and 3-pole receptacles.
