Overheating Protection
The fan heater is equipped with totally three overheating protection
components that switch off the unit automatically in case of overheating.
If the overheating components trigger out, e.g. due to total or partial
obstruction of the air intake and the front grill, follow the below mentioned
steps:
When the first overheating component triggers out, the heating element
and the fan will stop working. Unplug the fan heater from power supply
and allow cooling down for several minutes. Remove the obstruction from
the air intake (6). Connect the fan heater with the wall socket again and
operate the unit as usual.
When the second overheating component triggers out, the heating
element will stop working but the fan will continue rotating for about
10 – 20 seconds. Pull the plug and wait a few minutes. Remove the
obstruction from the front grill (4). Connect the fan heater with power
supply again and operate the unit as usual.
When the third overheating component triggers out the unit cannot be
operated anymore. In case of warranty contact the customer service.
Cleaning and Storing
Before cleaning, first disconnect the plug from power mains.
Do not wipe the fan heater with sharp detergents or aggressive chemicals
in order not to damage the surfaces. Wipe the heater with a lightly mois-
tened cloth. Use detergent as needed. Do not immerse it in water or any
other liquid.
Clean the air intake and the front grill with a brush.
Never try to clean the interior of the heater. Do not open the unit.
Let the fan heater fully cool down before storing. Store the fan heater in a
dry place out of dust and dirt that is protected from extreme temperatures.
