Back Light LEDs
The control housing assembly has two back light
LEDs to illuminate the control housing. Both
LEDs receive power from the FF temperature
board and can only be replaced as part of the
control housing assembly (see Control Housing
Removal under Control Housing Assembly).
Back Light LED Diagnosing
From temperature control board with door switch
not engaged.
J1 (pink/black) to J1 (red/silver): 12 VDC
J2 (red) to J2 (black): 12 VDC
J3 (red) to J3 (black): 12 VDC
From the main board with the door open.
J2 pin 6 (pink/black) to J2 pin 8 (red/silver):

Air Tower
The air tower is used to transfer air from the
freezer up to the control housing assembly
into the refrigerator. There is no damper at the
bottom of the air tower, instead there is a manual
damper built into the control housing assembly
(see Control Housing Assembly section for
more information).
Air Tower Removal
1. Remove the control housing assembly.
2. Remove two 1/4 in. hex head screws.
3. Pull the air tower away from the back wall by
the left or right side of the air tower.
