Basket
The basket slides in and out on rails connected to
the freezer liner.
Basket Removal
1. Fully extend the basket.
2. Lift up on the front of the basket and pull
straight out.
Freezer LEDs
The freezer has two LED boards, one on each
side of the freezer.
Freezer LED Diagnosing (from left LED with
freezer light switch not pressed)
Red/silver to white/silver: 12 VDC
Pink to white/silver: 3 VDC
Pink to red/silver: 10 VDC
Freezer LED Diagnosing (from right LED with
freezer light switch not pressed)
Red/yellow to white/silver: 12 VDC
Pink to white/silver: 3 VDC
Pink to red/yellow: 10 VDC
Freezer LED Removal
1.
the left light shield by gently prying the top
rear corner light shield from the cabinet.
Remove the right light shield by gently prying
the bottom front corner light shield from the
cabinet.
2. Disconnect the connector and release the
bottom two locking tabs securing the LED
board to the shield.
Freezer Light Switch
The light switch is a normally closed (NC) switch.
When the switch is pressed, the switch breaks
the 120 VAC circuit to the main board. This
informs the main board that the freezer door is

Door Open:
J7 pin 7 (red) to J7 pin 9 (orange): 120 VAC
Door Closed:
J7 pin 7 (red) to J7 pin 9 (orange): 0 VAC
Freezer Light Switch Removal
1. Carefully pry the bottom of the light switch
screwdriver, then pry the top away from the
liner.
2. Pull the switch from the liner.
3. Disconnect the red and brown wires.
Evaporator Fan Cover
To access the fan blade, the evaporator fan cover
not allow for evaporator fan removal as the fan is
mounted to the backside of the evaporator cover.
The cover does not need to be removed when
removing the evaporator cover.
Evaporator Fan Cover Removal
1. Remove one 1/4 in. hex head screw.
