To reinstall the Microsoft tools for Wmdows, follow these
steps:

you are in Windows, close Windows to return to an
MS-DOS system prompt

Type c:\dos\setup /e
and press
Enter.
3 When the setup program asks you for information,
press
Enter
to accept the default settings.
4 Press
Gtrl
+
Alt
+
Del
to restart the computer.
The Microsoft Tools are now ready to use.
Set Up Advanced Power Management for
Windows
To set up Wmdows to take full advantage of your computer's
power-saving features, follow these steps:
1 From the system prompt,
type c:
and press
Enter.
The prompt indicates that the hard disk is the selected
drive.

Type cd \windows
and press
Enter.
The prompt shifts to the WINDOWS directory.

The Windows Setup program displays a list of system
options.
4 Highlight Computer and press
