SPLIT CASE PUMP MODULE
PROBLEM
Power is on, Controller Module
accepts trigger, motor spindle
rotates, but Pump Module does Broken piston or loose piston
not move any fluid.
Fluid is leaking from front of
pump.
End cap will not tighten
smoothly.
Ceramic cylinder will not seat in Misalignment
split case.
Piston does not rotate or rotates Piston seized
slowly.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Loose fittings or seals.

Leaky seals.
Grit in threads.
Port fittings are too tight
Check port seals and front cap seal.
Remove and inspect piston/cylinder set.
If none of the above solves the problem, contact
IVEK technical support for assistance.
Inspect for scratches or grit (clean or replace if
necessary.
Clean end cap and split case.
Make sure the slot on the ceramic cylinder aligns
with the cylinder locating pin.
Make sure the cylinder locating pin is not dam-
aged.
Clean by soaking.
Loosen castellated sleeve and recheck piston.
