fuse, 50‑amp circuit breaker or a
fuel pump relay.
Faulty ignition system component.
Lanyard stop activated.
Obstructed fuel filter.
Stale or contaminated fuel.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Possible Cause
Turn switch "ON."
Position control lever to neutral.
Check and reset circuit breaker or replace
fuse.
Check all electrical connections and wires
(especially battery cables). Clean and tighten
faulty connection.
Test and replace if defective.
Test and replace if defective.
Confirm diagnostic and replace flywheel.
Check to see if engine can be rotated by
hand with the spark plugs removed. If not,
then determine cause.
Test wire with a remote starter switch at the
starter motor.
Read starting procedure.
Charge the battery.
Fill tank or open valve.
Replace faulty component.
Service ignition system.
Reset.
Replace filters.
If contaminated, drain tank and fill with
fresh fuel.
