When
the
engine
is

turned
over" a
spork should
jump
across the

space,
indicating
ample
current
supply.
If no spark jumps, the difficulty is probably
caused
by
a
defective ignition port and
should
be
corrected
by
your
Authorized Chevrolet
Dealer.
COOLING SYSTEM
When
the
car will run
but evidences serious
overheating
on the
temperature gouge in the
instrument
panel, there
are several
items
which
may be
checked.

replace

belt.
Tighten
the
belt,
whether
ne
w or
old

by loosening the idler
brocket
nuts, prying
with a
bar
on
the

brocket until
the
belt is
tensioned
properly, then retighten the
brocket
bolts. Proper
belt tension
is such
that,

Another couse
of engine overheating may be an
inoperative
COOLING
SYSTEM.
If the cooling
system
door
should fail to
open,
it will
not permit
air
to
circulate
through the
engine
.
