f Close the gravity brake by turning it to the 90° position.
f
f Close BDF valve "drain" and raise the system pressure to
f
approx. 0.5 mPa.
Note
This product is equipped with a 0.6 mPa safety valve.
f Close BDF valve "fill" and switch off the pump at the flush-
f
ing and filling station.
1 Pressure gauge
f Observe the system pressure at the pressure gauge. If it
f
drops, remedy any leaks in the system.
f Reduce the pressure at the BDF valve "drain" to the sys-
f
tem-specific pressure.
f Install the expansion vessel and set the operating pres-
f
sure to 0.35 mPa (3.5 bar).
f Close BDF valves "fill" and "drain".
f
f Set the gravity brake to its operating position (0° position).
f
f Remove the hoses of the flushing and filling station and fit
f
the caps to the BDF valves "fill" and "drain".

Note
The caps only provide protection against contamina-
tion. They are not designed for high system pressures.
Tightness is ensured by closing the ball valves.

6.5 Power supply

WARNING Electrocution
All electrical work must be carried out by an electri-
cian in accordance with the applicable regulations
and local guidelines.
f Before starting work, isolate the control unit
f
from the power supply.
f Connect the solar compact installation firmly to the solar
f
control unit in accordance with the operating and installa-
tion instructions of the solar control unit.
f Fit the electrical connecting cable with strain relief.
f

6.6 Safety equipment

This product is equipped with a 0.6 mPa safety valve. when
installing the system, ensure that the safety valve is easily ac-
cessible.
WARNING Burns
With safety valves there is a risk of scalding from the
expulsion of steam.
f During installation, check the local conditions
f
and if required, fit a drain pipe to the safety as-
sembly.
Material losses
!
The safety valve drain must discharge into a heat-re-
sistant container that can hold the entire content of
the system. In the case of smaller systems, the empty
heat transfer medium can is adequate. Dispose of used
heat transfer medium by appropriate means (landfill
or incineration).
