b) If you are removing a storage drive adapter, label and disconnect the signal cables from the
adapter.
c) Place the PCIe cage on an ESD surface.
6. Remove the PCIe adapter (A) to be replaced from the PCIe riser (B) as shown in Figure 24 on page 31
or Figure 25 on page 32.
a) Remove the screw that secures the PCIe adapter to the PCIe riser.
b) Remove the PCIe adapter from the PCIe riser.
