Care and maintenance

 Protect the hydraulic chuck against corrosion when stored.
 Ensure the hydraulic chuck is stored in the unclamped position.
 The clamping screw is to be cleaned and re-lubricated at regular intervals depending
on usage and the ambient conditions.
 If the tool length setting screw is clamped frequently, it must be cleaned and
lubricated at regular intervals.
 Repairs must only be performed at MAPAL.
 Instructions for cleaning in a washing facility:
Only clean the clamping chuck in unclamped condition

Only clamp or unclamp the clamping screw at room temperature

The washing temperature must not exceed 50°C

After cleaning grease the clamping screw
