GRAND-AL Series 3.1 Anti-static Precautions WARNING: Failure to take ESD precautions during the maintenance of the GRAND-AL may result in permanent damage to the GRAND-AL and severe injury to the user. Electrostatic discharge (ESD) can cause serious damage to electronic components, including the WAFER series motherboard and the power module.
GRAND-AL Series be carried out by qualified personnel who are familiar with the associated dangers. Air Circulation: Make sure there is sufficient air circulation when installing the GRAND-AL. The GRAND-AL’s cooling vents must not be obstructed by any objects. Blocking the vents can cause overheating of the GRAND-AL.

GRAND-AL Series GRAND-AL-08B/12B series: Loosen the screws that secure the case cover to the chassis. Slide the case cover back. Pull the case cover up until it completely detaches from the chassis. Step 4: Grip a RAM on the edges to avoid touching contacts or circuitry on the module.

GRAND-AL Series 3.5.2 Installing Hard Drive To install hard drives in GRAND-AL series, follow the steps below: Step 1: Turn off the GRAND-AL. Step 2: Pull the handle to release the tray and pull the tray out. Step 3: Install a 3.5" or 2.5" disk drive on the drive tray.
