Field reports indicate that the animation wheel can warp under special usage patterns. The warping
can potentially cause an animation error that will turn the light off as a safety precaution.
There is no risk of personal injury.
The animation wheel moves in and out of focus when it is rotated. An animation and gobo error may
appear.
Replace the animation wheel with the new type. Follow the instructions in
animation wheel" on page 4 on how to remove the multimodule and replace the animation wheel.
This document only applies to the MAC Encore Performance fixtures that were delivered with the first
type of animation wheel that does not have the positioning notch.
