PASO 54: Ajuste del Embrague
Verifique el juego de la palanca del embrague en el
extremo de la palanca (1).
Juego: 10 – 20 mm
En caso de que sea necesario el ajuste, proceda de la
siguiente manera:
Levante el protector de goma (2).
Afloje la contratuerca (3) y gire el ajustador del cable (4)
en el sentido deseado. Apriete nuevamente la
contratuerca (3) y verifique el juego de la palanca del
embrague una vez más.
En caso de que el ajustador del cable (4) haya sido
desenroscado hasta su límite sin que el juego de la
palanca del embrague quede correcto, afloje la
contratuerca (3) y rosquee completamente el ajustador
del cable (4). Apriete la contratuerca (3) y cubra
nuevamente la palanca con el protector de goma (2).
(A) Aumenta el juego
Afloje la contratuerca (5) del ajustador inferior ubicado
en el extremo inferior del cable del embrague y gire la
tuerca de ajuste (6) hasta obtener el juego correcto.
Apriete enseguida la contratuerca (5) y verifique el
juego.
Haga funcionar el motor, accione la palanca del
embrague y engrane la 1ª marcha.
Asegúrese de que el motor no presente caída de
rendimiento ni patine el embrague. Libere la palanca
del embrague y acelere de manera gradual. La
motocicleta debe avanzar con suavidad y aceleración
progresiva.
(A) Aumenta el juego
PASO 55:
Soporte Lateral
Verifique si el soporte lateral (1) se puede mover
libremente.
Asegúrese de que el mismo no esté agarrotando.

STEP 54:

Clutch Adjustment

Check the clutch lever free play at the lever tip (1).
Free play: 10 – 20 mm (3/8 – 3/4 in)
To adjust:
Raise the dust cover (2).
Loosen the lock nut (3) and turn the cable adjuster (4) in the
desired direction.
If the cable adjuster (4) has been threaded out to its limit
and the proper free play cannot be obtained, loosen the
lock nut (3) and turn the adjuster (4) fully in. Tighten the
lock nut (3) and replace the dust cover (2).
(A) Increase play
Loosen the adjuster lock nut (5) near the lower end of the
clutch cable and turn the adjusting nut (6) until the proper
play is obtained. Then tighten the lock nut (5) and check the
adjustment.
Start the engine, apply the clutch lever and shift into the 1st
gear.
Make sure the engine performance does not drop and that
the clutch does not slip. Release the clutch lever and
accelerate gradually. The motorcycle should have a smooth
positive start and accelerate progressively.
(A) Increase play

Side Stand

Check the side stand (1) for freedom of movement.
Make sure the side stand is not binding.
