The following figure shows a square or full mesh topology in which both Ethernet Routing Switch
8800/8600 IST pairs are running PIM-SSM and RSMLT in the core. The Ethernet Routing Switch
8300 and the stackable Ethernet Routing Switches (5xxx/4500/2500) are running PIM-SSM at the
edge.
