4 Operation

1) Insert the antennas (4) provided into the
antenna jacks (8) and put them in a vertical
position
Hint: To increase the range and the interference
resistance, use antenna amplifiers from JTS (e g
UB-900I) The amplifiers are supplied with power
via the antenna jacks of the receiver
2) The output signals of the receiver units 1 (RX1)
and 2 (RX2) can be sent separately or as a
mixed signal to the subsequent audio unit
(e g mixer or amplifier) The following out-
puts are available:
– for each receiver unit, a balanced XLR out-
put (9) for connection to a microphone
input (in this case, activate the 20 dB atten-
uation:
units with line signal level
– for each receiver unit, an unbalanced
6 3 mm output jack (10) for connection to
an input for units with line signal level
If the 6 3 mm output jack RX1 is to provide
the mixed signal of both receiver units (in-
stead of the output signal of receiver unit 1),
set the selector switch "Mixed" (11) located
next to the jack RX1 to the position ON
3) For power supply, connect the power supply
unit provided to the power supply jack (13)
and to a mains socket (230 V/ 50 Hz) The
FR
receiver is provided with a strain relief (12):
Lead the cable around the hook at the bottom
of the housing to prevent accidental discon-
nection of the power supply unit from the
receiver
Note: The power supply unit will still consume some
power when the receiver has been switched off
Therefore, always disconnect the power supply unit
from the mains socket if the receiver is not operated
for a longer period of time
4) Use the rocker switch (7) to switch on the
receiver ( I = "on", O = "off")
