Numeric 7-segment display. It indicates the program (and the
relative configuration) currently selected by means of the two
pushbuttons.
Neutrik Combo ® connectors which accepts both 3 pin XLR and
2
jack plug, for the stereo input (connection to the mixer).
3
Balanced XLR male outputs ("LINK"). They allow for easy
parallel connection of other active systems or stage monitors etc.
Neutrik Speakon ® connectors for the powered outputs
4
(connect these outputs to the left and right satellites).
Note: be sure to rotate the Speakon ® connector clockwise until it
locks in place.
5
Input level control with peak LED indicator. Allows to adapt the
input sensitivity of the built-in power amplifiers to the output level
of the mixer.
If you are using a Montarbo mixer (or any other mixer having a
nominal output level of 0dB), turn this control fully clockwise to
its maximum setting. The peak LED lights when the signal level is
approaching the maximum (clipping) allowable level. If the LED is
continuously lighted, you must reduce the output level of the mixer
or rotate the input level control to a lower (counter clockwise)
setting.
6
GROUND /LIFT switch: this switch allows to lift signal ground
from chassis ground (but the chassis is still connected to the safety
ground). This allows to lower the annoying hums caused by
"ground loops" when more units are connected.
7
Mains power switch. Always make sure the subwoofer is
connected to the satellites and to the mixer before powering it up.
The DTRIX15 system should always be switched on last after
powering up all the equipment connected to it, while it should be
switched off first before powering off all the equipment connected
to it.
8 I.E.C. power supply socket (230V AC 50÷60Hz) with built-in fuse.
9
Ground socket. It must be used only when the mains cable
is connected to an ungrounded socket, or if the socket ground
connection is unknown.
10 Thermostatically controlled low turbolence fan.
11 Neutrik Speakon ® input socket. It allows the connection of the
2 satellites to the subwoofer's power outputs.
Note: be sure to rotate the Speakon ® connector clockwise until it
locks in place.
