How to use your vacuum cleaner The Russell Hobbs UV Pro is designed for use on soft furnishings such at mattresses, sofas, rugs and upholstery. It’s purpose is to tackle the allergens such as dust mites, bed bugs, bacteria and pollen - all things that may worsen the symptoms of asthma, eczema and other irritations.
How to empty the dust container and clean the filter. Ensure the unit is switched off. Make sure to empty the dust container before it gets full. Grasp the dust container and pull upwards. Pull out the HEPA filter and tap the dust container over a bin to empty.
How to change the UV bulb To replace the UV bulb unscrew the bulb cover and pull the cover away. With both of your thumbs placed on each end of the bulb rotate downwards to unlock it until you can see the pins. Slightly pull out the terminals to remove the bulb.
