8 STANDBY key
Enters standby mode.
9 ON key
Turns on the power when pressed in standby mode.
The picture appears about 10 seconds later.
q; MENU key
Displays the main menu or exits from the menu.
qa Arrow keys
Used to select the item or adjust the value in the menu.
Also used to adjust the position of the picture after
pressing the SHIFT key 4.
qs ENTER key
Used to select the item in the main menu.
qd SCREEN BRIGHT +/– keys
Adjust the brightness of the screen.
Press + to increase the brightness and – to decrease the
brightness.
qf VOLUME +/– keys
The keys do not function with the unit.
qg PICTURE CONTROL keys
Adjust the picture conditions: CONTR (contrast),
BRIGHT (brightness), COLOR, HUE and SHARP
(sharpness).
qh RESET key
Resets the adjusted value of the picture to its factory
preset value. Also resets the adjusted value of the
picture shift to the previously stored value.
qj INPUT SELECT keys
Select the input signal.
INPUT A RGB: The RGB signal input from the
INPUT A connectors.
INPUT B VIDEO: The video signal input from the
VIDEO connector, when the BKJ-100 JJTRON
Accessory Board is installed.
INPUT B YUV: The component signal input from the
R/R-Y, G/Y, B/B-Y connectors when the BKJ-100
JJTRON Accessory Board is installed.
INPUT B RGB: The RGB signal input from the R/R-
Y, G/Y, B/B-Y connectors when the BKJ-100
JJTRON Accessory Board is installed.
qk WIDESCREEN MODE keys
Select the wide screen mode which allows you to
display a 4:3 aspect ratio picture in 16:9 aspect ratio
(ADN-8118 only).
STANDARD: Displays a 4:3 aspect ratio picture to fill
the vertical direction of the screen.
FULL: Displays a picture to fill the whole screen.
ZOOM: Displays a picture to fill the horizontal
direction of the screen. (The picture will be off
screen at the top and bottom.)
ql COLOR MATRIX key
Switches the chromaticity levels. Each time you press
the key, you can select 1 (No change, LED
chromaticity level), 2 (Chromaticity level for NTSC)
or 3 (Chromaticity level for EBU).
w; ZOOM SIZE key
Adjusts the picture size. Each press selects one of four
options.
You can select one of four options each for video
mode (1 to 4) and VGA mode (5 to 8) when the 31.5k/
60 Hz signal is input from the INPUT A connectors.
wa MUTING keys
PIC (picture): Cuts off the picture. To restore the
picture, press the key again.
AUDIO: The key does not function with the unit.
