Do you have a question about the Buck Commander and is the answer not in the manual?
Questions and answers
My safe combo is not working. It is a digital key pad. How do I go about getting it open without calling a locksmith and drilling?
If the digital keypad on your Stack-On Buck Commander safe is malfunctioning, you can try the following steps to open it without calling a locksmith or drilling:
1. Use the Backup Key: The safe comes with a backup key. Locate the keyhole, which is usually hidden behind the keypad or a removable cover, and use the key to open the safe.
2. Check the Batteries: If the keypad is unresponsive, the batteries may be dead. Replace them with new ones and try entering your code again.
3. Reset the Keypad: Some safes have a reset procedure that can be done by removing and reinserting the batteries or pressing a reset button inside the battery compartment.
4. Verify Code Entry: Ensure you are entering the correct code and that the keypad is functioning properly by pressing each button firmly.
If none of these steps work and you cannot access the backup key, you may need to contact Stack-On customer service for further assistance.
