6 Opening and Closing
The housing of the BatFuse has a removable lid. Only remove the lid when mounting the device,
when separating the Sunny Island from the battery, or when replacing the NH fuses.
DANGER!
Risk of lethal electric shock
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform installation and maintenance
work.
• Separate all AC consumers from the grid.
• All Sunny Island AC input power sources should be disconnected before working
on the BatFuse.
Information
Observe the instructions in the section Switching On and Off in the technical instructions
of the Sunny Island.

6.1 Opening the BatFuse

1. Loosen the lid screws.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Store the lid in a safe place for the duration of the task.

6.2 Closing the BatFuse

1. Check whether all cables are safely installed and that all tools were removed from the inside
of the BatFuse.
2. Put the lid on.
3. Tighten the lid screws.
