Unpacking the Scanner Open the carton. The shipping carton should contain: SCANTEAM 3400 SCANTEAM 3400 Hand Held CCD Scanner Laser Emulation User's Guide Shipping Carton Check to make sure everything you ordered is present. Keep the shipping carton to return the scanner for servicing.
Connecting the Scanner Install the scanner by following the steps shown below: Disconnect power to the terminal/computer by turning the host system power switch to the “OFF” position. Power OFF Connect the interface cable to the scanner and to the decoder unit attached to your terminal/computer.
