BEEPER SCANTEAM 3000/PDF Information/Examples Volume This programming selection provides control of the reader’s beeper volume. The beeper volume may be set from low to high in four increments. Default = “2,” medium–high. Beep on Power Up When enabled, the reader will double beep each time the system is reset. When disabled, the beeper will not sound whenever the system is reset.

RS–232 SCANTEAM 3000/PDF Information/Examples Baud Rate This programming selection sets the baud rate from 600 bits per second to 38,400 bits per second. Programming baud rate causes the data to be sent at the specified rate. Default = 9600 bits per second. Character Format This programming selection allows you to set the character format for number of data and parity bits.

TRIGGER SCANTEAM 3000/PDF Information/Examples Generally, a TRIGGER ON causes the reader to begin decoding, and a TRIGGER OFF halts decoding. The meaning of TRIGGER ON and TRIGGER OFF depends on the trigger mode. Autotrigger Enable In autotrigger mode, the reader scans continuously. It does not, however, output decoded messages continuously.
