Important
This appliance is intended for household use
only.
Assemble the appliance properly before
plugging it into to the wall socket.
Unplug the appliance immediately after use,
i.e. before unscrewing the bar.
Avoid touching the (SHARP) blades, especially
when the appliance is plugged in.
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
Keep the appliance out of reach of children.
Infirm persons should only be allowed to use
the appliance under supervision.
If the mains cord of this appliance is damaged,
it must only be replaced by Philips or their
service representative, as special tools and/or
parts are required.
If the blades get stuck, UNPLUG THE
APPLIANCE and remove the ingredients that
block the blades.
Let hot ingredients cool down before
chopping them or pouring them into the
beaker (max. temp. 80cC / 175cF).
Using the appliance
Bar blender
The bar blender is intended for:
- Blending fluids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit
juices, soups, mixed drinks, shakes.
- Mixing soft ingredients, e.g. eggs, flour and
butter, for making e.g. batter and mayonnaise.
- Pureeing cooked ingredients, e.g. for making
baby food.
