Windows 3.1x - Starting a Print Job

Follow these steps to print a document. They are shown using Write as an exam-
ple.

Use Write to create a document to print.

From the [File] menu, click [Print Setup].

Make sure that the name of your machine is selected for the "Default Print-
er", and specify the paper size and source that you want to use.
Note
Use "Size" to select the paper size that matches the paper loaded in the
printer's paper tray.
Use "Source" to select [Auto Tray Select].

Click [OK].
The above step closes the "Print Setup" dialog box.

From the [File] menu, click [Print].
The "Print" dialog box appears.
Note
Click the "Print" dialog box's [Setup] button to open the printer driver
screen to change the printer setup, and specify the number and the range
of pages to be printed.

Make sure that the name of your machine is selected under [Printer Name],
and then click [OK] to start printing.
Note
If another printer is selected, click [Setup] and select the name of your ma-
chine.
