Assembly and Operation
Centre Frame Fixing:
Where the two halves of the beds meet in the middle, hand-knobs should be used to connect the
centre parts of the bed frames. The hand-knobs must be fitted through the foot-end first then into
the threaded head-end. Fully tighten the hand-knobs before commissioning the bed.
Operation:
Firstly, plug in the security key into the socket at the lower left side of the hand control.
This feature is to prevent any unauthorised use.
Controller Functions:
A - Head end up
C - Foot end up
E - Head and foot ends up
G - Bed up
IMPORTANT: Only one operation at a time is possible. The bed should not be used for more
than 2 minutes continuously in an 18 minute period. A thermal protection circuit may be
activated and the bed will not work. To reset the thermal cut out, switch off mains power
and leave for 30 minutes.
