Controls
On / Off switching
Switch the display on by pressing the '
2 seconds on the front of the control panel. The same
button is used to switch off the system. The system will
shut itself down after 3 minutes not being used to save
energy.
Lighting
By pressing the '
' button you can
switch the lighting on or off. The screen lighting will also
be on or off at the same time. The lighting symbol left
on the screen shows the status of the lighting (on or
off). Your bike is fitted with a light sensor to
automatically switch on the lighting at dusk. Without
battery the lighting is not functional.
Battery indicator
Every bar of the battery status indicator is about 10%
of the total battery capacity. With 10 bars the battery is
100% full. When the battery status indicator shows no
bars, the midmotor will smoothly cease assistance.
The remaining energy is reserved for lighting which can
be used for about 2 more hours.
Assistance level indicator
The assistance level indicator shows which assistance
level you are in. There are 5 levels, with level 1
' button for
representing an assistance of 50% (of the own pedalling
force), level 3 an assistance of 120%, and level 5
an assistance of 250%. In level 0 the motor offers no
assistance. You can adjust the assistance levels with
the '
Speed
In the middle right of the screen you can see the
speedometer. This can be set to KPH (kilometers per
hour) or to MPH (miles per hour), see display settings
for how to change this unit.
Walk assist
: The walk-assist mode can be used by pressing
the '
km/h. The walk assist is only to be used when you are
pushing the bike.
