TROUBLE SHOOTING
Cause
• Uneven air pressure from side-holes
due to dried material
• Dried material clogging around the tip
of fluid nozzle, at the center hole,
reduces atomization
• It may also be caused
by loose fluid nozzle
• Atomizing air pressure is too high
• Fluid output is too high
• Paint viscosity is too low
• Atomizing air pressure is too low
• Fluid output is too low
• Paint viscosity is too high
• Air enters the fluid passageway due to
the
needle packing set drying out
• Dirt between fluid nozzle and gun body
or
osely installed fluid nozzle.

• A loose or defective in Swivel nut on
the cup or material hose
• Fluid nozzle and fluid needle set are
not seated properly
• The first stage travel or trigger
decreases. (when only air discharges)
• Paint build-up inside air cap

• Use a thinner to dissolve obstructions;
blow the gun clean afterwards
• Clean the nozzle tip by using
a rag wet with thinner
• Tighten up the fluid Nozzle
• Reduce air pressure
• Reduce fluid flow by turning fluid
screw right and adjusting spray width adjustment
• Increase viscosity by adding more paint
• Increase air pressure
• Increase fluid flow by turning fluid control screw
left and adjusting spray width adjustment
• Reduce viscosity of paint
• Unscrew the needle packing set and lubricate
the needle packing set
• Clean the fluid nozzle and fluid nozzle seat in
the gun body by using a rag wet with thinner
• Tighten or replace the swivel nut
• Clean or replace fluid nozzle and fluid needle set
• Replace fluid nozzle and fluid needle set
• Clear air cap
