vxiinstall and vxiremove are the shell scripts for installing and removing the NI-VXI
device driver, respectively.
•
readme.doc contains the latest updates and corrections to the manual when appropriate.
Additional Programs and Files
The /tbl directory contains the following table files.
•
creg.tbl contains device information for use by the Resource Manager.
•
mfnameid.tbl contains the database of the manufacturer names and their ID associations.
•
model.tbl contains the database of the model names, manufacturer names, and the model
codes associations.
•
device.tbl contains the database of the device names, manufacturer names, model names,
and frame and slot associations for the system.
•
nonvxi.tbl contains the database for all non-VXI devices in the system.
•
intcfg.tbl contains the system interrupt configuration information.
•
trigcfg.tbl contains TTL trigger configuration editor information.
•
utilbus.tbl contains the utility bus configuration editor information.
•
resman.tbl is an output file written by the Resource Manager. It contains device-specific
information.
•
vxibus.cfg contains the bus configuration information.
•
vxila.cfg contains the logical address configuration information.
•
vxidev.cfg contains the device configuration information.
•
vximf.cfg contains information specific to the board manufacturer.
The /include directory contains include files for the Microsoft C language interface.
•
nivxi.h is the main header file containing the C prototypes for the NI-VXI functions.
•
cvxi.h contains definitions for constants used by the C language interface cvxi.c file.
•
datasize.h contains data size specifications.
•
busacc.h contains parameter and return values for the bus access functions.
•
devinfo.h contains parameter and return values for the device information and system
configuration functions.
•
vxiint.h contains parameter and return values for the interrupt and signal functions.
