Setting Region Edit Points Using the Position Line

You can set IN, OUT, FROM and TO points with greater precision using the editing
position line. Here's how:
1. Press PHRASE•REGION•AUTOMIX repeatedly until it's lit red.
2. Click the mouse at the desired time location in the project. A dotted vertical line

Other Features of the Edit Pop-Up Menu

You can perform quite a few actions from the Edit Pop-Up Menu. In all cases, once you
select the desired item from the pop-up menu, click the left mouse button:
To:
Clear region edit points
Move the timeline
To:
Zoom in or out
View the Wave Display from
the Home screen
View the Home screen from
the Wave Display
Activate the VS-2480's Scrub
feature
Use Scrub to preview audio
Select a track

Press and hold CLEAR
Press and hold SHIFT
Right-click and:

select ZOOM
or ZOOM

select SCRUB and left-click to checkmark it.
select SCRUB TO to preview the audio just before the
position line, SCRUB THRU to listen to audio just
before and after the position line, or SCRUB FROM to
listen to a small chunk of audio starting at the
position line.
Sel Trk selects the track on which you've right-clicked
if no IN and OUT points have been set.
Then right-click and:
select the desired edit point.
select the desired edit point or
choose GOTO to move to the
current location of the position
line.
