8. Basic Setups

Learn more about how to connect and configure the AUDIO 4 DJ by having a look at the
typical setups described in the following.
8.1 Using the AUDIO 4 DJ as Default Audio Device
Using the AUDIO 4 DJ as standard sound card (Default Audio Device) of your operating
system will bring brilliance in your living room when listening to music or watching DVDs
via your computer.
8.1.1 Using the AUDIO 4 DJ in Windows
Make sure the volume controls of the amplifier are down!
Open Start > Control Panel > Sounds & Audio Devices.
Click on the Audio tab.
As Default Device for Sound Playback, choose one of the available channel pairs of
the AUDIO 4 DJ, e.g. AUDIO 4 DJ (CH. B, Out 3|4).
Plug a RCA cable into o
of your amplifier.
Open an available music file or sound on your computer. It should get played back via
the AUDIO 4 DJ now.
