7. Battery Maintenance Battery replacement should be performed by qualified personnel. The battery used for standard models are value regulated sealed lead-acidmaintenance free battery. Please charge the UPS regularly in order tomaximize the expected life of the battery. When being connectedto the utility power, whether the UPS is turned on or not, the UPSkeeps charging the batteries and also offers the protectivefunction of overcharging and over-discharging.
