The microphone volume is small.
When signing in (e.g., resuming the com-
puter), audio is distorted.
The feedback noise may occur.
Input Characters
Cannot enter special characters (ß, à, ç,
etc.) and symbols.

Turn off the concealed mode. (
Restart the computer.
Beeping sounds are not emitted by this device.
Stop and restart playback.
Use a monaural condenser microphone.
Activate the Windows sound function. When it is not active, the volume does not change even if
slide bar is displayed.
Increase the volume of the microphone according to the following steps.:
1. Touch
(Start) - [Windows System] - [Control Panel].
2. Touch [Hardware and Sound] - [Sound] - [Recording] - [Microphone Array] - [Prop-
erties], and then increase the volume of [Microphone Array] and/or [Microphone
Boost] in [Levels].
Perform the following steps to change the audio settings to prevent audio output.
1. Touch and hold
2. Remove the check mark from [Play Windows Startup sound].
To stop microphone's monitoring output.
1. Touch
(Start) - [Windows System] - [Control Panel].
2. Touch [Hardware and Sound] - [Sound] - [Recording] - [Microphone Array] - [Prop-
erties], and then remove a check mark for [Listen to this device] in [Listen].
Use the character map.
1. Touch
(Start) - [Windows Accessories] - [Character Map].
2. Input "Character".
Set the device
[Extension Port]
to [Enabled] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.
Set
[Cradle USB Port]
to [Enabled] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility.
