The blue HD Traffic Receiver indicator flashes while your HD Traffic
Receiver attempts to connect to the TomTom HD Traffic Receiver service.
When the connection is made, the HD Traffic Receiver indicator stops
flashing and stays lit.
You can now begin using your HD Traffic Receiver.

Safety Notice

A TomTom HD Traffic Receiver contains a GSM module which can interfere
with electrical devices such as cardiac pacemakers, hearing aids and aviation
equipment.
Interference with these devices may endanger the health or life of others.
Do not use near unprotected electrical units nor in areas where the use of
mobile telephones is prohibited, such as hospitals and airplanes.
TomTom Traffic
TomTom Traffic is a TomTom Service, available as a subscription, for
receiving up-to-date traffic information from the best local sources.
Note: TomTom Traffic is not available in all countries or areas. Go to
tomtom.com/services to check availability in your country.
To use TomTom Traffic, you will need to establish a wireless data connection
(GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA) between your TomTom device and a Bluetooth
enabled mobile phone and you must have a wireless data subscription with
your mobile network operator. For more information, go to tomtom.com/
phones
To use TomTom Traffic, do the following:
1. Tap TomTom Traffic in the Main Menu.
You will be prompted to set up a wireless data connection with your mobile
phone, and then to enter your MyTomTom account details.
2. Tap Enable Traffic.
