Traffic information

You can obtain traffic information in three ways:
Traffic information

• TomTom HD Traffic

• TomTom Traffic
• Traffic Message Channel (TMC)
Important: Reliable TMC Traffic reception is highly dependent upon optimal
antenna placement, vehicle features such as windscreen reflective shielding,
the surrounding environment such as mountains and high buildings and RDS-
TMC Radio station transmission signal strength.
Some vehicles have a heat reflective shield embedded in the windscreen
which might prevent a navigation device from locating your current position.
If this is a problem in your vehicle, use the TomTom External Antenna Kit
(available as an accessory).
