Install the appropriate cables for your network configuration. The

Avaya P550/P580/P880/P882 Multiservice Switch supports the

following cable type:

Fiber cables with SC-type connectors

The optical fiber types that can be used with the Gigabit Ethernet

Modules are standard single-mode and multimode optical fibers that

conform to the requirements of the following standards.

Single-mode Optical Fiber:

IEC 60793-2 B1.1 (dispersion unshifted single-mode) or

IEC 60793-2 B1.3 (low water peak single-mode)

ITU-T Recommendation G.652 –Dispersion Unshifted Fiber
